In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work closely with a team of project team member from different function and supplier in projects industrialization for outsourced manufacturing at suppliers and associated activities. The main objective is to manage both internal stakeholders and industrialization projects for outsourced manufacturing at suppliers; set up, install and verify appropriate control and surveillance at suppliers to ensures quality performance and compliance to Philips & regulatory requirement and drives both internal and supplier development.
You are responsible for
Pre Project Activities
Participate in relevant advance development activity, advise the team on idea manufacturability and cost effective solution
Participate in development process, advise the team on design manufacturability and risk
Translate product requirements into process requirements; ensure design, release and continual improvement of production facilities and processes to meet product & module requirements.
Manage project industrialization process to achieve timely & appropriate project deliverables, launch, installed capacity, quality and budget
Practice APQP, CpK, MSA, line balancing, lean manufacturing
Product Life Cycle
Support LCM activities and deliverable, including change management and new launch
Manage life cycle repeat and replacement tool budget to be accurate
Business Technical Support
Contribute technical input to sourcing decision, such as supplier capability and process portfolio
Identify gaps of supplier capability and performance, drive process and quality improvement and risk mitigation
Support technical aspect of negotiation of Project Book and Supplier Agreement
Support supplier selection, audit, qualification and surveillance activities
Ensures compliance of supplier to safety regulations, quality and ROHS/REACH standards on quality management process and product level
Participate and contribute to timely and accurate periodic reports, a
Participate and contribute to ad-hoc programs (eg. lean, transformation, annual goal, etc)
You are a part of
A global advanced manufacturing team, mainly for electrical Personal Care appliance products.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial, Production Engineering or relevant discipline
At least 5 years work experience, with more than 3 years’ experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
Professional in relevant manufacturing technology, lean manufacturing and supplier quality management. Preferably in domestic electrical appliance industry.
In depth understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, molding, equipment and quality systems
Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders.
Good written English Skills, workable oral English. Chinese language is a MUST.
Independent, proactive, driving for result.
Frequent travel to South China is necessary.
