Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADA) is a non-government organization with the mission to promote equal opportunity to people with differentabilities to have access to and excel in the arts; and advocates an inclusive society through the arts. We invite candidates with high caliber to apply for the following position:
To design, organize and coordinate arts related events, including exhibition, showcases, performances, workshops and school visits for people with or without disabilities;
To plan and support the development of individual artists with different (dis)abilities;
To coordinate different scholarships and monitor the progress;
To manage project budget as well as departmental expenses with good record;
To prepare proposals, budgets, reports, assessments and evaluation of projects;
To maintain good and close relationships with working partners, artists, arts organizations, NGOs, sponsors, media and stakeholders;
To develop networks with international arts organizations/artists related to inclusive arts;
To manage and supervise staff in programme matters;
To serve as Secretary for Programme Committee.
Degree holder in arts, cultural/ arts management, communication or other arts related disciplines;
Minimum 5 years of solid working experience with proven record in programming;
Creative, flexible, sensitive and strong initiative in supporting artist development as well as arts programmes;
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and with competence to communicate across difference stratums of stakeholders;
With strong sense of responsibility, high level of integrity and understanding on disabilities;
Excellent written and verbal communications in both English and Chinese;
Proficient knowledge in stage production and/or exhibition, familiar with Windows and MS Office;
Irregular working hours (including public holidays) and overtime work required.
