Managing the daily operations of Caprice, the French dining restaurant with Michelin two-star, including planning, organizing and directing the team members and resources for efficient and profitable service

The Job

  • Supervise team members’ performance to provide food and beverage service on an exceptional level
  • Develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, dedicated to an attentive and distinctive guest experience for lunch and dinner
  • Ensure the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all staff members
  • Maintain a friendly and elegant manner with all guests when greeting them, seating them and throughout their dining experience
  • Promote great public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests
  • Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
  • Prepare staff schedule which allows for appropriate service while controlling labor costs and overtime
  • Complete all accident reports promptly
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management
  • Take, control reservations and seating of the restaurant with regards to service standards

The Person

  • Essential to have 2 to 3 years management or supervisory experience at fine dining restaurant
  • Degree/ Diploma holder of Hospitality/ Restaurant Management preferred
  • Fluent English & French
  • Strong leadership and organizational skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible to work on split shift (restaurant opening hours from 12:00nn-2:30pm and 6:30pm-10:30pm)
