Shaw College
The Shaw College is an energetic college with an aspiration to nurture “Excellence with a Soul, and Leadership with a Heart” of students. In recent years, the College develops students along Five Pillars (Nurturing Moral Character, Serving the Community, Caring for Motherland, Developing Global Perspective and Protecting the Environment). The College is currently looking for enthusiastic and devoted person(s) to join the team dedicated to the whole-person development of students.

Executive Officer II(s) (carrying the job title of ‘College Development Officer’)
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) planning, implementing and evaluating student-oriented services and activities, college events, alumni programmes and staff activities; (b) managing campus facilities and student amenities, including supervision of project works; and (c) performing committee work, publication, administrative and other tasks as required.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: http://www.per.cuhk.edu.hk/JobVacancies/LanguageforEO.aspx; (iii) a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) at least 4 years’ post-qualification executive experience; (v) an outgoing personality, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) strong team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vii) genuine interest in working with students and various stakeholders of the College; (viii) the ability to work independently and efficiently, with flexibility and creativity; (ix) strong organisational skills and attentiveness to details; (x) willingness to work on irregular hours as necessary; and (xi) competency in IT applications. Experience /Expertise in tertiary education, public sector service, or talent development will be advantageous.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered.

Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
