Rosewood Residences - 186 luxury accommodations for longer stays located on the top 19 floors of the tower - will offer a dedicated lounge, indoor swimming pool and fitness center along with special services and amenities for residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Report to the Director of Finance overseeing the daily operation of the Purchasing Department; ensure effective communication for operational issues
Manage and develop the purchasing team by providing supervision and professional development, counselling and coaching
Responsible for Hotel pre-opening HEOS purchases and tendering with procedures and budget control
Oversee Service Contract, General Supplies category, food and non-food items, handle special projects and prepare management report
Execute the hotel purchasing tendering policies and procedures, ensure the team and user department in compliance with the policies, guidelines and standard imposed by the hotel and Corporate office
Establish contractual partnership with our vendors, buying equipment, goods and services and comparing costs, quality and service in order to get the best value during the purchasing processConduct Vendor sourcing and selection, price comparison, annual vendor performance review and budgeting
Ensure the quality of goods and services purchased are aligned the companys standard with best terms and offer
Ensure smooth supply of all hotel items to meet the operation needs
Establish and implement the purchasing operation system (Material Control or other)
Establish and update the supplier database for all category
Establish contingency plan in supply chain activities
Monitor closely the inventory and order quantity to avoid waste of resources
Review and implement purchasing logistic policies and procedures from time to time
Liaise closely with all department heads, suppliers, partners and related parties
Collect updated market and price trend information
Frequent site visits are required
Degree holder or above, and preferably in Business Administration / Purchasing Supply Chain Management
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in a sizeable luxury hotel with at least 3 years in similar capacity
Excellent Negotiation and communication skills in a clear, concise and professional manner, both verbal and written format
Proven managerial abilities in people management, strategic planning and decision making
Is a brand ambassador at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity and companys culture is always maintained.
