Short Term Seasonal Part Time Assistant Research Manager Jobs Vacancy in Ocean Park Aberdeen Jobs Details:
ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for handling funding proposals for Research Advisory Committee review and comments. He/She will select and recommend high quality proposals for senior management’s endorsement. He/She will manage timeline, outputs and conservation implications from funded projects. He/She will direct and oversee in-house conservation research. He/She will also coordinate with other departments regarding conservation initiatives and maintain effective and professional discussions with external parties. In addition, he/she will explore and develop new conservation initiatives for project studies, coordinate with conservation institutions and universities and implement and manage the tasks towards the conservation and project study goals.
Requirements- PhD preferably with Biology, animal science or related fields
- With at least 8 years of related work experience
- With knowledge in local wildlife
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mature, independent and self-motivated
- Proficiency in MS Office, Access and PowerPoint
- Good command of written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
