The Office is looking for a capable and dynamic individual to assist in the development and implementation of the innovative creative arts education and presentation initiatives of the School of Humanities and Social Science and its partners.
The appointee will provide logistics support for a variety of creative arts courses and activities in music and creative writing including, but not limited to, coordinating and managing guest artist logistics; designing print and online publicity materials and publications; arranging for publication and dissemination of those materials; and performing other administrative duties in the School of Humanities and Social Science. Working outside normal office hours and during weekends may be required.
Applicants should have a recognized degree with strong speaking and writing skills in English and Chinese; strong graphic design skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience in working with multiple offices within an institution; experience in organizing arts events (preferably at an arts organization in Hong Kong); and strong word-processing, spreadsheet and web-based computer skills. They should be reliable, self-motivated, thorough, team-spirited and open to cultural and artistic diversity. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
