Project Officer / Project Assistant
Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme

The appointees will be responsible for (a) organizing and implementing local history learning programme(s); (b) conducting literature review and oral history interview; (c) co-ordinating workshops, seminars, exhibitions and other teaching and learning activities; (d) liaising with other community partners; and (e) facilitating the general administrative work.
(i) a recognized degree, preferably in History, Translation, Chinese or Social Sciences; (ii) high proficiency in written English and Chinese; (iii) strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and well organized; (iv) good analytical and interpersonal skills; and (v) proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing).
Priority will be given to the applicants with experience in historical research.
Candidates with less experience/knowledge will be considered for the post of Project Assistant.
Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund.
